Otakon Costumes

Fri Feb 2, 2007, 11:01 PM
  • Mood: Wow!
  • Listening to: Hare Hare Yukai (and dancing to it too)
  • Reading: Maus
  • Watching: Daily Show
  • Eating: I dunno
  • Drinking: Tea
For anyone who cares/ wants to see me at my artist's table at Otakon, I've decided on my costumes for this year. One reason I'm announcing this is because if I promise other people I'll do it, I'll be more likely to do it.

So! I'm going to be cosplaying as:
Haruhi from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (possibly dancing in the Masquerade)
and
The school uniform from Negima OR the school uniform from a new anime (I think currently it's supposed to be kind of a secret, so to be on the safe side I won't say its name :P But I'll tell you the uniform is CUUUUUTE from what I've seen!)

I'll likely be doing the uniform from the new anime, but by the time the con rolls around it'll be out so I'll be able to tell people then ^^

Anyway....ta ta guys! I'm off to sleep/work on it!
-L.

The only thing I wanted to comment about was the fact that you are reading Maus. Art Spiegelman...I can't say enough about him. Maus is one of my all time favorites. I really believe that everyone should read it.

Have a great time with your Cosplay!

Haha, yes! Ironically, I am reading it because of an English class (go figure), but I've been wanting to read it for a while and it gave me an excuse to buy it :P And I'm enjoying it immensely.
