I love the emotion you imbued in what can be seen of the face. You did a good job at it, despite, or perhaps even because of the pheonix obscuring the face. It's a very lively and interesting composition, and I love the implied movement you've instilled in it. The pheonix and the hair do indead look wonderful, and the print making style of the inking is all I wish I could acheive with my art.
It is a beautiful black and white composition, and I think the balance of negative space is well portioned.

I really love this picture... I'm quite jealous actually, because I certainly can't draw hair like that! All I can do is straight hair. I love how you've defined all of the curls, and the look of surprise on her face. It must have taken ages to do. I'm deffo faving this.
